Venice Entrance Fee

Please note that the City of Venice has introduced an access fee for day visitors on certain dates to manage tourism flows, including July 25, the day of the workshop. We recommend all participants not living in the municipality of Venice to check the official information on the booking portal Venezia Unica.
Visitors staying overnight in Venice are generally exempt from the fee, but still required to explicitly ask for an exemption. For full details and the list of exemptions, please refer to this page.

Public transport in Venice

For getting around Venice, the public waterbus service (vaporetti) is the most convenient option. You can check real-time schedules, routes, and stop information using the website and app CheBateo. It's a helpful tool to plan your trips across the old city and nearby islands efficiently.

Drinking fountains map

To reduce plastic waste during your stay, consider refilling your bottle at one of Venice’s many public drinking fountains. You can find the nearest fountains using the map provided at venicetapwater.org.
